The Eleventh Body

All ten bodies, integrated and working in harmony.

You might have expected that we were only going to talk about ten bodies. However, in this ancient healing system, all ten bodies working together as an integrated whole is considered another body - the eleventh body.

To better understand the eleventh body, think of a 10-piece orchestra made up of ten different instruments. Each instrument individually represents one of the ten bodies, but all the instruments playing at the same time, following the conductor, is the eleventh body, the symphony. This is the optimal expression of the eleventh body.

However, if even one of those instruments is out of tune, the effect sounds less than melodic and harmonious. The conductor of this orchestra would likely halt the performance and ask the musician holding the instrument in question to tune up their instrument.

Consider for a moment, that your high Self, the part of you that knows what’s best, is the conductor of this amazing symphony. Consider, also, that you could use technique to tune up your instrument.

Eleven is ultimate mastery, manifestation and inspiration. It is willpower, constancy, integrity and wisdom. It is the sound current, pre-set destiny; unchangeable.

The archetype of eleven is the Guru. The definition of ‘Guru’ is remover of darkness. Therefore, it is light. You could also think of it as a lighthouse - the way show-er; what takes darkness to light.

Elevens have an extra obligation. Because they can use all the numbers/bodies, they need to practice all the disciplines of all the ten bodies.

Try this technique for the 11th Body
Eleven is inspiration at its best and conflict at its worst. When eleven is positive, it inspires! The job of the eleventh body is to always be positive and magnanimous.

Do this exercise to tune up the eleventh body:

  1. Smile. Hold a relaxed neutral smile. For 1-30 minutes.

  2. As soon as you can, do this looking into a mirror. Hold a clear view, eyes looking into eyes, with a basic, peaceful smile for 1-30 minutes.

This is a challenging technique because you will become distracted and you will hallucinate. This may be the most challenging exercise you will ever do! Set a timer, sit completely still, look straight ahead into your own eyes with a gentle smile.

Try it and let me know how it goes.
